The Dojo of Exceptoinal Wellness' (DEW) Mission is to imbue its participants with self empowerment, inner strength and self- confidence in pursuit of a better quality of life through the instruction of martial arts.

One of our tasks is to reach as many people as possible, increase awareness of our Mission and share the Wellness & MArtial Arts Program for the Special needs. Engagement is central and, here we will share media about what the Dojo of Exceptional Wellness is about, how we meet our Vision and the positive quality of life improvements we witness.

The Children's Trust (TCT)-funded STEP AHEAD Program, supported by the City of Hialeah, at the South Florida Autism Charter School reported on its latest periodical testimony of its activities and it mentions Dojo of Exceptional Wellness' (DEW) Wellness & Martial Arts Program (W&MA) as one of its positive milestones for its participants.

Doral Family Journal reports on September 2018 about the discussions with the City of Doral for the future deployment of our second W&MA Program for the Special Needs community.


El Nuevo Herald spanish language newspaper features the DEW's W&MA Program in its May issue and on its website, highlighting DEW's mission and our goal to improve the quality of life of participants on the Spectrum and other Special Needs.

Working diligently with the City of Doral and its Parks & Recreation Department, DEW deployed its second Wellness & Martial Arts Program for the Special Needs community.

DEW takes part in the 2019 AUTISM SPEAKS WALK on April 28, 2019 at the Doral Central Park, increasing awareness and networking in support of our awesome community.

DEW W&MA Program participants from the South Florida Autism Charter School (SFACS) get a full invitation from event organizer to attend and participate, exhibit at the 2019 Miami Karate Open National Qualifier Tournament.

Come, support them as they showcase the benefits of our W&MA Program for the Special Needs and how martial arts benefits them in their personal journeys in pursuit of a better quality of life.

The Dojo of Exceptional Wellness, Inc, was proud to accept the invitation to take part in the "What's The Function" Podcast by Creative Training Technolofies, published on YouTube this month of August 2019. We talk all aspects of DEW and our Wellness & Martial Arts Program for the Special Needs Communities.


The Dojo of Exceptional Wellness, Inc. (D.E.W.) Nonprofit Organization that emphasizes the aspect of Budo in offering martial arts instruction and practicing the art of Okinawan karate-do. Budo, translated as 'the martial way', is pthe spiritual foundation for martial arts; the ethical code on which martial arts are based; the lifelong benefit of practicing towards a greater inner strength, self-esteem, self-empowerment, balance, confidence and, ultimately, internal peace.



English language Pulitzer winning Miami Herald newspaper featured the Dojo of Exceptional Wellness' efforts in this article. With the support of the community and interested sponsors, we aim to bring this beneficial Wellness & Martial Arts (W&MA) Program to the Special Needs Community throughout the county and, in time, beyond.


The good reasons to pursue our mission abound, however, this nonprofit W&MA Program requires 'Champions' from our community to help provide for them a safe, welcoming and compliant environment to develop their self empowerment, inner strength and self-confidence skills that improve their quality of life and tools them to deal with life's challenges.


Special needs conditions do not expire, the Dojo of Exceptional Wellness  was founded for providing the skills that assist each participant preparing the mind, spirit and body for the challenges today and ahead. Sharing our knowledge of Budo and its benefits to the whole individual is the how we help.
